Oh HELL Yes!!!

Rush is on tour again this Spring! They will be in Phoenix on May 1st and I already have tickets. There are many things I don't have in life...but I will never miss a RUSH show. I love it when they go on tour back to back. They were here last July and it was about 120 degrees... However the temperature in the third row seemed far hotter and more stifling than just 120. It will be much better to see them in May rather than July in the desert.

As a teenager and in my 20's they seemed to pass through New England and New York during the brutally cold winter months. This meant traveling to shows by Greyhound and waiting in lines outdoors for hours and hours. I was sick more times than I can count and I prayed to see them in either the summer or in a warmer location. Apparently I got both my wishes...but something just didn't feel right about it. I swear, seeing Rush in the cold temps is, somehow, more appropriate. And as for the crowds... You cannot beat a cold weather crowd! For some reason they are more energetic, appreciative, and excited. So far the worst places to see a Rush show have been Los Angeles and Phoenix. The crowds are lack luster in the southwest and it effects the energy of the show.

Let's hope for a cold snap in Phoenix on May 1st!!!

Resume writing like pulling teeth...

Still putting together the resume. There is just too much to pack into a few pages. I can't make it too long though. Even I wouldn't want to read more than two pages about a person unless it was Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson or Neil Peart. Resume critics always suggest using powerful keywords for things that can be better explained graphically. Yes...I am one of those people who points to the photo on the menu and says "I'll have that".
